Blue Maze Entertainment was born in 2001.  The music and new media company has been an early advocate of mp3s through its music listening lounges and Virtual-CDs, and has produced music initiatives with companies such as Tanqueray, Hard Rock, Gibson Guitar, AT&T, Nautica Jeans, Enyce Clothing, Remy Martin, and the ASR MediaCast (Oakley, Hurley, Billabong).  Blue Maze continues to innovate on its music promotion and distribution initiatives with its patented Virtual-CD application, offering artists, brands, and contentholders a way to stand out in the digital marketplace.  The company's offices are based in New York, NY and Santa Monica, CA.

Evan Shapiro - Executive Producer
Evan Shapiro offers a vision for the future of music through a unique understanding of both the traditional record business and the evolution of new media. As a co-founder of Blue Maze, Evan develops music and related entertainment media initiatives for the company. He actively builds a pipeline to the hottest emerging music, and is able to source content from both new and established artists through his expertise in music licensing and distribution. Evan began his entrepreneurial career in 1998, by taking a leave of absence from Emory University's undergraduate business program for an opportunity at Bad Boy as an assistant to John Eaton, producer of the #1 single "It’s All About The Benjamins (Rock Remix)" for Puff Daddy. Evan simultaneously began building a music production network between New York and Atlanta, launching Maze Studios ATL (Cee-Lo Green, Gnarls Barkley). A native New Yorker, now based in Santa Monica, CA, Evan is a fresh voice amidst the next generation of music and media entrepreneurs.

Mitch Towbin - Executive Director
Mitch Towbin guides Blue Maze and it’s diverse client base by bridging the gaps between the Music, Internet, and Advertising industries. As an innovator in the entertainment media world, Mitch Co-Founded Blue Maze, to empower artists and to “get great music heard”. Through his integrated promotion and distribution strategies, Mitch has become a key connector, providing value to both content holders and corporate brands seeking to engage fans and affiliate themselves with the hottest consumer lifestyles. By fusing his vast network of artists, producers, labels and publishers, with his advertising agency and corporate contacts, Mitch has developed a powerful lifestyle-branding platform. This music pipeline places Mitch at the center of exciting music-driven promotions and branded entertainment properties. His diverse background spans the traditional aspects of music production, licensing and supervision, as well as groundbreaking work within the progressive entertainment media space. This varied experience has allowed Mitch’s driven entrepreneurial spirit to flourish in a fast moving industry seeking new direction. Having grown up in a musical and artistic family, Mitch has always aimed at nurturing creativity and narrowing the distance between talent and their fans. With each new project, property, and partnership, Mitch celebrates this vision.

Reggie Mars - Chief Digital Officer
Reggie Mars has over ten years of wide-range online marketing and technical experience in the areas of online music, web design, development, and marketing. Past clients include businesses in radio, music, and online dating. Prior to joining Blue Maze, Reggie served as Director of Online Marketing for TangoWire, a dating community with 8 – 12 million active users. He was previously a developer at AccessAtlanta, a division of Cox Interactive.  His early intelligence and experience in the online music space came while he was still in college.  During that time, he founded VDM, Inc., an internet venture that provided music industry professionals and professionals-to-be with efficient tools for communication, collaboration, and online music exchange.
